which is only 3 miles from Cape Charles.

it. It's located close to four public boat ramps and two public
fishing piers. Two ramps are on the Bay side (Cape Charles &
Kiptopeke State Park) and two are on the ocean side (Oyster &
Wise Point). Cape Charles and Kiptopeke State Park both have
public fishing piers on the Bay side. This area is re-known for
it's black drum, red drum, cobia, spadefish, tautog, speckled &
gray trout, flounder and croaker fishing.
Just a 45 minute ride to Virginia Beach will provide all the
nightlife, boardwalks, museums and shopping you will need.
Within easy driving to the north is Chincoteague famous for it's
wild ponies and the pony round-up and sale each year. There are
many small village and towns that are both scenic and
historically interesting. There are many restaurants from mom &
pop's to upscale to enjoy.
If you're looking for a quiet or romantic get-away this will
fill the bill. Relax on the front porch or the screened-in
patio on the back. Cook-out on the gas grill and kick back! If
you're into bird & wildlife viewing you'll find this area rich
in both. The fall bird migration here is spectacular! There are
many areas set-up for bird and wildlife viewing. Both Kiptopeke
State Park and the Eastern Shore Wildlife Refuge have trails and
wildlife viewing areas.
